Choose to Cruise

October is Plan a Cruise Month – if cruising is on your bucket list, this is the perfect time to get a great deal.

The Disney Wonder
There are cruises that offer non-stop fun sailing through the sun soaked Caribbean and itineraries that feature castles and cathedrals alone Europe's historic rivers.  You can sit back and snuggle under a blanket while passing by Alaska's glaciers or discover something closer to home with a trip down the mighty Mississippi.
Celebrity Infinity

Each year more and more people are choosing cruising over land vacations.  With almost endless itineraries and a vast array of ships, many cruise lines allow you to personalize your experience.  So if you like the idea of traveling to multiple destinations while unpacking only once and appreciate excellent dining options and top notch service, there has never been a better time to take your first cruise.

Follow our weekly Friday series, Insider Tips for First Time Cruisers, to help you plan your first cruise or learn something new for your next trip.

Let's Travel Together

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of family vacations.  I remember piling into our minivan each year for a 12-hour road trip with my sisters as we headed from our family home in western Pennsylvania to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Often we would stop half way to visit Busch Gardens or Colonial Williamsburg.  It was a long trip and crazy at times but looking back, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Since then, I've been blessed to be able to travel much more and to be able share that passion with my own family.  We began taking our children on trips, both near and far, long before their first birthdays.  Now at six and twelve, they hop through security and customs without a second thought and they don't flinch when navigating a new city.

Let's check out new places together & revisit some old favorites along the way and when we travel as a family, I'll include special tips so that everyone has a great time.

I want to be there to help you plan vacations that leave you and your family with memories that last a lifetime.  Whether your idea of vacation is island hopping through the Caribbean, snowmobiling in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, golfing in Palm Springs, or a multi-generational trip to Walt Disney World, my goal is to be able provide planning assistance,  touring plans, tips & tricks so that you can get the most out of your next adventure.

Explore These Tropical Destinations

Are you one of the nearly two-thirds of Americans that still doesn’t have a passport?  Don’t let that keep you from traveling to some exotic and tropical destinations.  Here are a few of our favorite locations.
Hawaii — With its breathtaking natural beauty and tranquil waters, Hawaii offers six unique islands each one features something different.  From Pearl Harbor and Waikiki Beach on Oahu, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, to outdoor adventures and romantic escapades that flourish on Kauai, each trip brings something different.
Puerto Rico — It seems that Puerto Rico has a little something for everyone.  There are blue cobblestone streets in Old San Juan,  lush rainforests and even three bioluminescent bays.  For an added bonus  Puerto Rico is serviced by direct flights from over 20 U.S. cities.

U.S. Virgin Islands — The islands of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix together are best known for their beaches and diving.  The U.S. Virgin Islands is a paradise with so much more to offer than the traditional beach vacation.
While a passport is not required, make sure that you have a government-issued ID.
